When the owners of this newly remodeled Spanish Revival home in the Los Feliz hills of Los Angeles moved from their modern home in San Francisco, they hired Danielle to help them transition with their young daughter. They needed guidance on which furnishings to keep, discard, or purchase, aiming for an interior that was both formal and cozy. The living room embodies a harmonious blend of old and new, featuring preserved original flooring and tiles around the fireplace alongside contemporary velvet sofas. A vintage 1800s sideboard and an antique giltwood mirror balance the modern Moroccan-inspired rug, while a charming sitting area by the large picture window invites morning coffee and reflects the owners' easygoing vibe.
